Wesley Sadler

Co-Founder, Brydon Energy

Prior to cofounding Brydon Energy, Wesley worked across investor-owned utilities, the government, national labs, and the broader industrial and energy sectors at McKinsey & Company. His work included nuclear commercialization strategy, operations excellence, outage and maintenance optimization, M&A, and enterprise transformations.

Before joining McKinsey, Wesley was a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. Responsible for the Reactor Controls and Chemistry/Radiological Controls divisions, he led teams conducting testing, operations, and maintenance on the Navy’s most advanced, FOAK nuclear reactors on the aircraft carrier, USS GERALD R. FORD (CVN 78). His other tours included Strike Warfare Officer on USS WILLIAM P. LAWRENCE (DDG 110), where he was responsible for Sailors deploying the ship’s Tomahawk cruise missiles and gun weapons systems, and two years at Northwestern University as an Assistant Professor teaching undergraduate technical courses.

Wesley holds a B.S. in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A in Operations and Finance from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Wesley is a Naval Reactors certified nuclear engineer.
